The art of home brewing has always been a wonderfully complex and fulfilling hobby for me, mostly due to the fact that it is really challenging to master all the aspects of the craft. Also, since I have a background in chemistry and biology, I find the geeky science stuff rewarding and fun to learn about.

In terms of seasonal brewing and in general, I've always felt it's nice when life offers things to look forward to and beer is certainly no exception! When I see the first Fest Biers hitting the shelves at Total Wine, I'm as giddy as a school boy... in a weird lederhosen outfit likely.....

This site will hopefully be a place for homebrew clubs to collaborate, discuss brewing techniques and recipes, track brewing calendars and learn more about brewing science.... Prost!
